    • 15:00 Dr. Dávid Szőke PhD: Everyday Racism and Sexism in Social Media
    • David Szőke completed his PhD in the Comparative Literary Faculty at the University of Szeged. His dissertation was about the influence of the German-speaking Jewish literature and culture on Iris Murdoch’s early novels. Currently, he does research on the antigypsy gaze in the European theatre and the media and the function of the European Roma Theatre in social sensitisation. His essay “Storytelling and Heroism in Franciska Farkas’s Letter to Brad Pitt” was  published in the spring edition of Gender Studies e-Journal (Társadalmi Nemek Tudománya e-Folyóirat) in 2021.
